The Beginner’s Theological Shelf
I’ll be updating the PDF regularly
It is very important to a new reader of theology to read a wide variety of topics. This is because it can be so easy to fall into the trap of reading only one area of theology early on without the context needed to understand it. So, the list that I’ve compiled here is a list that includes a very wide variety of topics, denominational leanings, time periods, cultures, and purposes. It is my prayer that these books help you in your quest to learn the Scriptures better and seek the Lord more fully.
This list also assumes that you already have a Bible and read it daily. This video is to help you further in your reading. This list is also not exhaustive, and you may want to change out any of these books with something that more aligns with your convictions. Though I believe what these books teach to be true, they are all within my own leanings and preferences.
