5 Overrated Christian Books
5 Overrated Christian Books
Two weeks ago, I released a video called 5 Underrated books. This got me thinking; what are some books that I think are overrated? What are some books that I think got way more hype than they deserved?
Now, to preface this video, let me say just a few things.
First, this list is not exhaustive. There are many books I would advise against. These are simply some of the books that I haven’t enjoyed.
Second, this list is built of multiple types of books I don’t like. There books on this list that I disagree in a slight way (but could still be helpful to a different believer), there are books I simply didn’t understand (but other believers might), and finally, there are books that I would guard .against and advise people stay away from entirely. Which books are which will soon be clear.
Third, you may strongly disagree with my list here. That’s ok! Please leave your thoughts in the comments. If you like one of the books on this list, please defend it in the comment section and explain why it’s better than I’m giving it credit for.
And then finally, it wouldn’t be fair to simply complain about books without suggesting a different book. And so, paired with each book on the list, is another book that I’d rather read or recommend. So with that in mind, we can get into my list of 5 overrated books.
